The Orbit professional series spray head is the premium offering in their lineup, designed to provide exceptional performance and versatility. This version of the spray head features a highly innovative pressure regulator that can be adjusted from either the bottom of the can before installation or the top of the can after installation, allowing you to set the pressure to 30 or 40 PSI. The 30 PSI setting is recommended for standard spray nozzles, while the 40 PSI setting is ideal for multi-stream rotator nozzles.

The spray head is available in 2-inch, 3-inch, and 4-inch riser stem heights, making it suitable for a broad range of landscape types. The wiper seal on the riser stem incorporates an over-molded structural support, ensuring long-term, smooth retraction and preventing water from blowing by the riser stem. The riser spring, which creates the pop-up action, is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel for years of reliable operation.

A ratchet mechanism in the riser stem allows you to adjust the direction of the spray after installation, providing precise control over the coverage area. The bottom of the can features an integral silt trap, helping to protect the internal components from debris and extend the lifespan of the spray head.

The spray body inlet has standard 1/2-inch female pipe threads (FPT), allowing it to be compatible with Blu-Lock and Riser-Flex fittings, as well as 1/2-inch Schedule 80 PVC and cut-off risers. The brass spray nozzle is precision-machined, resulting in a highly uniform spray pattern and exceptional durability.

The half and quarter pattern nozzles incorporate twin-spray technology, further enhancing the uniformity and coverage of the water distribution. The all-brass spray nozzle also includes a filter and adjustment screw, enabling you to reduce the spray pattern down to 75 percent of its rated distance. This low-angle trajectory helps improve efficiency by minimizing wind drift, making it ideal for outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.
