The Battery-Powered Sprinkler Controller is designed for scenarios where you have an existing sprinkler valve but lack the necessary sprinkler wires. It can control up to four valve solenoids in the same valve box and is ideal for converting a manual sprinkler or drip valve to an automatic valve, or when there is a break in the wires preventing power from reaching the valve.

The controller includes a 13V latching solenoid and solenoid adapters for all major valve brands. You can add up to three additional solenoids (sold separately) to the system. The timer is engineered for outdoor installation, even in a valve box, with a removable control dial for easy programming and battery changes.

Under normal usage, the controller can be powered by 2 AA alkaline batteries for a full season. The A and B program slots allow you to set up to two unique watering schedules, each with space for four different start times. This enables the creation of cycle and soak windows, encouraging water infiltration into the soil.

The Battery-Powered Sprinkler Timer will automatically "stack" overlapping runtimes from different programs, ensuring that only one solenoid is running at any given time. The manual run feature allows you to run one zone, select zones, or all zones for a specified length of time, which is convenient for zone testing or supplemental watering.

The rain delay feature allows you to skip watering zones for a configurable time when Mother Nature is taking care of the watering. Installation is straightforward, requiring the replacement of the existing 24 VAC valve solenoid with the 13V latching solenoid, inserting batteries into the timer, setting the schedules, and attaching the mounting clip and timer to the latching solenoid.

Engineered with a high degree of water and dust resistance, the Battery-Powered Sprinkler Controller is designed for outdoor irrigation use with cold water only. It comes standard with one solenoid, adapters for a variety of 24 VAC valves, and a mounting bracket, making it a versatile and convenient solution for automatic sprinkler or drip valve control.
